Fine Chablis often requires faith.  Put your nose in a glass of this two-year-old grand cru and what do you smell?  Nothing.  Well maybe an exquisite hint of apple and spice, but it's hidden, as the flavors hide within a silken texture.  There's not much discernible flavor until the wine opens up into the finish, and the concentration becomes apparent as the spiced apple and toasted pecan scents go on and on.  The balance, clarity and detail of the flavors are all there.  Ten years from now, what is now potential richness will pour from the glass.
